Bandit Roadster
This is one of those fun projects. Our customer wanted us to build him a Bandit Roadster. So we found a mint 50mile original 1978 Trans Am
over at Volo auto museum. The car even had original paint. It is loaded with every possible option from the year.
Murray Pfaff designed the car and as soon as we had a go from the owner we cut it up.
There were a few convertible conversions done years ago on the second gen F-body cars but they never looked right and had serious flex
problems. We looked at all of the old problems and made sure to design around it and get the body lines right and the chassis stiff.
The TA will wear black paint with the Bandit gold stripes. Some 20” Billet Honeycomb wheels will update the looks a bit.
The driveline will only receive a few minor upgrades for ride and handling.
