1973 Corvette (from the Corvette Summer movie)
The 1973 Corvette from the
Corvette Summer movie has been recreated
by
John Debruin. It took 3 years to create the molds for the front and rear ends.
Performance Restorations has been contracted to finish the car with the wild Multi
candy color over metal flake paint job. Only 2 cars were built for the movie. The #2
car exists in the Mid America Corvette museum. The other was totaled out in
Australia and remains there today. Although it was rebuilt it is not the same as the
original. This car will replicate the original #1 car as close as possible. Love it or hate
it, The Corvette Summer movie car is probably the most famous Corvette ever built.
We are proud to be involved with the project.

Frank Bullitt would be proud! Unless your dead or more into knitting than cars
you've seen the all time best "Car Guy" movie
Bullitt. Filmed in 1968 the movie is
legendary for setting new standards in Hollywood with action car chases. To this day
it's arguably the best ever Hollywood car chase. And the best part, they used good
old amercan Muscle cars for the chase. A 68 Mustang and a 68 Charger. Rumors
keep surfacing about a possible remake of the movie. I am not sure they could top
the original.  Performance Restorations is building a Bullitt Mustang. The 68 Mustang
named "Extreme Bullitt" will look like Steve McQueen's car but, be built much like
Brent's Radical 66 Corvette. It will wear the Highlander Green Bullitt paint and black
interior combo. Of course it will ride onAmerican TTO 17x8 inch Torque Thrust
wheels.  A Fuel injected 427ci 576hp Jack Roush engine mated to a 6speed
Richmond pushing the power back to a built 9 inch will get Frank Bullitt around town
real fast. Handling is taken care of with a Heights double a-arm- rack and pinion front
end using adjustable coil overs. A Wilwood braking system utilizing 13" drilled and
slotted rotors all around will stop Detective Bullitt fast. An ten point custom built roll
cage keeps things safe inside. Frank Bullitt could catch the bad guys really quick in
this Mustang. Check the "in Process"
Gallery to see the car. Popular Hot Rodding
magazine has an exclusive to a feature article on the car when it is finished. If only
Steve Mcqueen could see this thing! A feature article will be written on The Extreme
Bullitt. We have an agreement with Johhny Hunkins at Popular Hot Rodding. They
have the "Exclusive" on a feature article when the car is done.

Brent has purchased a
1965 Corvette coupe to build into his next radical pro
Touring - Road Racing car.
He calls it " Maxed out ". The Completion date is spring
of 08 Corvette fever Magazine wants to follow the build up with a series of articles on
the car. See pictures of the project in our "in process"
Gallery. Check back for
updates & photos.
