This ride is not only worthy of being featured in the pages of Corvette Fever
but actually alters the landscape of the Vette-rod category altogether.

This Candy Orange coupe is so wrought with novel customization and
masterful fabrication trickery that it quite possibly could be the new

Going so far as to hoist this menacing machine up on a lift and snap some
shots of its pristine undercarriage and running gear, we came away with a
mere glimpse of the talent and capabilities of Brent’s Performance

While not at the track or peeling asphalt from the streets, Brent’s machine is
intimidating even standing still (which it rarely does). Corvette Fever

What classic cues the modified C2 coupes design holds is quickly coupled
with the vehicles overall state of being. This Corvette is simply gorgeous.

We were unprepared for the shock that was in store when we finally laid eyes
on his Corvette. We were not expecting a full-on show car to roll out of his
enclosed trailer onto the paddock at Ginger Man. The quality of paint and
level of detail throughout is spectacular and worthy of any indoor car
show. Its so for beyond the level of anything we’d ever expect to see taken
around a road course that we can’t even describe how out of place it seemed
among the race cars at Ginger Man. And we stared in bug-eyed disbelief
when Brent opened the hood to reveal a 750 hp, 555ci, Hillborn-injected big-
block with enough chrome and polish to shame a low rider.— Hotrod Editor
It’s hard to say what we found more shocking at the conclusion of the track
testing of Jarvis’ Corvette; that he had the balls to put such a valuable car at so
much risk on a road course, or that such a beautiful show piece ultimately
performed so well. It was almost inconceivable that Jarvis got it so right on the
first try.—Matt King Hotrod Editor

POPULAR HOT RODDING-FEBRUARY 1997 ISSUE - by Randy Fish
"During our visit to the NMCA race at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove,
WI, we couldn't help but notice Brent Jarvis and his stunning 1959 Corvette.
As owner of Performance Restoration in Mundelein, IL, Jarvis has turned a life-
long hobby into a lucrative business. His shop specializes in top-notch body
and paint, insurance and collision work, classic restoration, as well as custom
painting. Even the most casual inspection of his Corvette reveals the
level of expertise this guy has reached."

we've seen this year it would certainly go to this '65."
